Centerville Clinics Press Release in Response to COVID-19

An important message to all our patients, prospective patients and friends of Centerville Clinics:

As COVID-19 continues to pose a very real danger to our community and our country, Centerville Clinics continues its commitment to serving the needs of our neighbors. The doctors, nurses, clinical professionals and staff are focused on your health and safety โ€“ and stopping the spread of the virus. Here are the steps that we are taking:

We have substantially increased cleaning and disinfecting through all our locations, with a special emphasis on surfaces touched by many people. We are closely monitoring the health of everyone at the Clinics, as well as providing additional hand-sanitizing stations. Safety of our patients is our top priority.

We are screening all our patients who have pre-existing respiratory conditions or are at-risk. Centerville Clinics has an extensive Black Lung program and Pulmonary Lab program. We are relying on our experience in pulmonary care to protect high-risk patients.

We are screening patients when they come to their appointment or make an appointment. The screening is non-invasive and helps us to identify patients who may have symptoms or may have come into contact with other people who may have been exposed or infected.

We encourage anyone who has symptoms to call the Centerville Clinics location in your neighborhood. Symptoms include cold and flu-like symptoms such as coughing, body aches, fever, chills or shortness of breath.

We have established Respiratory Clinics at three locations โ€“ Uniontown Family Doctors, Washington Family Doctors and the Joseph A. Yablonski Memorial Clinic โ€“ for patients who have symptoms. These specially equipped Respiratory Clinics have negative-airflow systems and ultra-violet lighting that will kill contaminates.

This is a critical time. Centerville Clinics is taking precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19 and to keep everyone safe. Our goal is the safety and good health of all our patients, and we know that you will agree that testing makes sense. Together we can help stop the spread of this potentially devastating illness.

Update 3/17/20 9:00 AM:
To further ensure the safety of our patients and staff, only one parent or caregiver will be permitted to accompany a patient visiting our offices.
