Where did you go to school?

I completed my undergraduate Bachelors of Nursing at Penn State University. I completed my Masters of Science Family Nurse Practitioner at West Virginia Wesleyan University. I am currently enrolled in the Post Masters Mental Health Program at Wilkes University to be completed May 2020.

Tell me a little bit about yourself.

My mother was a nurse and influenced my career in nursing. I started my nursing career in Pediatrics then transitioned to a Trauma Level 1 Emergency Department. The Emergency Department was a place of constant learning and sparked my path to Nurse Practitioner school. I am now a mother to my sweet baby girl Emma and married to the love of my life, Mitch. We have a small dog, Bentley. We enjoy traveling to warm destinations!

What’s something interesting about you?

I have Celiac Disease and live a gluten free lifestyle. I am an active member with the Celiac Disease Foundation and advocate for research in the field.

Volunteer work/special causes?

March of Dimes, Foundation for Faces of Children, My family and I are members at The Bible Chapel as well
