Dr. Theresa J. Lacava

Family Practice Physician

Dr. Theresa J. Lacava, a Board-certified Family Practice Physician, sees patients at Uniontown Family Doctors as a member of the medical staff of Centerville Clinics.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Waynesburg College, Dr. Lacava received a National Science Foundation Grant for Undergraduate Research conducted at the University of Oklahoma. She did post-graduate work at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, under a Rotary International Foundation fellowship and also studied at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Dr. Lacava earned her medical degree from the University of Otago Medical School in Dunedin, New Zealand, and completed a Family Practice residency at West Virginia University. Her professional experience prior to joining Centerville Clinics includes serving as a Primary Care Physician associated with Uniontown Hospital and as Radiotherapy Registrar and House Officer at Palmerston North Hospital in New Zealand.

Dr. Lacava is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. She also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Pediatric Life Support, BASIC Life Support and as a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider.
